The room fell into deathly stillness, the atmosphere suddenly cooling down. Yan Xiaohan’s gaze dropped in concentration. Out of the corner of his eye, he glimpsed Fu Shen turning his head away for a tiny yawn, seemingly tired.

😂🤣😂🤣 Fu Ju Ju recalled of the poem all by himself, irritated for not remembering to the fullest, persisted in digging out to that extent, only to felt pissed in the end 😆

Chinese cursive is awful! I barely read Chinese and then my mother will send me to the store handing me a grocery list in her cursive chicken scratch. She acts all, it’s clearly written there, while I tell her to read each item to me before I head out. I think she does this because she can’t actually remember all the strokes. Thanks for translating!

Hahaha. That poem and FU Shen’s reaction is priceless.
It’s good to know Fu Shen’s efforts didn’t go to waste. I’m waiting for the time when that heir shows up and the emperor suffer.
Thanks for the chapter!
