I felt very validated when I read that. I always feel that the authors of those 1,000 chapters romance novels have no understanding of love or marriage. Those secret marriage novels where the girl has to become some sort of bigshot so that she can stand shoulder to shoulder with the husband are too superficial. It’s good to be ambitious and all but it shouldn’t be for earning the right to stand beside your spouse. If having a high position is the required trait for a spouse, then the spouse would have already married others rather than marry a lowly person and wait ages for them to be worthy.

I just wonder why many seem to surprise for FS being shou? Isn’t he sounds more like that from the beginning? Truthfully, I’ve never doubted it 😂 He may acted like he’s the big boss gong, but as it was hinted in the Drunk Chapter, the real beast was just hiding his claws. YXH from the beginning has all the quality being Gong either physically or mentally 😍
