Fu Shen straight-up left it all behind, not waiting for anyone else. Yan Xiaohan had the desire to chase after him, but there was no way that he could, with Chunyang dead. How this case would be concluded, how the confessions would be fabricated, how the timeline of what happened would be rounded out… he had to stay behind to wrap things up.
